“Look at you. You’re young. And you’re scared. Why are you so scared? Stop being paralyzed. Stop swallowing your words. Stop caring what other people think. Wear what you want. Say what you want. Listen to the music you want to listen to. Play it loud as fuck and dance to it. Go out for a drive at midnight and forget that you have school the next day. Stop waiting for Friday. Live now. Do it now. Take risks. Tell secrets. This life is yours. When are you going to realize that you can do whatever you want?”

Summer is coming where I live and I would love it if you gave me some ideas on what should I do? I know I will work for a month but still want to do fun things while working so I can have great memories. Please don't say go on adventures because that such a broad recommendation, so please please be more specific. I haven't really done anything adventorous in such a long time I've lost the feel of it haha:) anyway have a great great day! xx

Okay well I’m a very repetitive person so this might be boring to you but my summers look like this-
I spend a lot of time at work because summer is the busiest time for us. I wake up and usually go for a swim first thing in the morning. If I’m in the water by 7, I can play for half an hour and still have time to shower and have breakfast before work at 9. When I finish at 5:30, it’s straight to the beach with a book and that’s usually where I am for the next 2 hours. I head home, have some food and then dash again to watch the sunset.
On days that I’m not working, I go to beaches further away. I take an umbrella, food and sunscreen and spend the whole day there, reading, napping, swimming and listening to music. If the weather is way too hot or maybe not hot enough, I’ll go thrift shopping. In the evenings, I usually go for a 1-2 hour bike ride along the water (or anywhere really if you aren’t near the ocean, the suburbs look different by bike). I climb the hills that I think will give me the best view of the sunset. I spend more time than most people would, watching the ripples that my toes make in the water. I take photos of anything and everything that makes me feel something. I feel a lot of things. I make playlists and I discover new songs and I choose the moments that I want them to remind me of. I go to my friends house. They have trees and a cow and a kangaroo and they still watch video tapes and have an amazing record collection. We drink a lot of tea. We watch the stars. We laugh. We take funny photos. We reminisce. I watch the light filter through the leaves. I watch everything turn to gold. I float and I let the waves rock me enough that when I lie down to sleep, I can still feel it. I spend hardly any time cooking because I just want to be back outside. I don’t plan for the future, I do whatever I want to do right then and there because summer is all I need.
I realize that this is all about me but I can only tell you what I fill my days with because I have no idea what you might like to do. These things all make my heart feel very very full; so full it might burst. Hopefully you are able to find the things that make yours feel the same :) xx
